Everyone kept telling me that I should open up a cake shop! I made a little boo boo but the cake turned out amazing. I will make this cake again and commit to my prior mistake.. I think my mistake made the cake a little better... this was the 2nd time I made this cake. The 1st time I followed the directions to a T
Everyone has asked me for this recipe because they all love it. Only suggestion is to make it the day before because it will get more moist.
Oh so good! and much more simple than it looks! EVERYONE was impressed!
Beautiful presentation. Tastes like a dream. Unfortunatly, very messy to cut and serve. Fell apart and fell over. May semi freeze before serving next time to keep it together.
I made this for Thanksgiving last year and it was in high demand for a repeat performance! I made it this year and I have never received so many compliments : ) Additionally, my sister, who rarely eats desserts, expressly requested this one and wants it again for Christmas! Success!
LOVED IT! I made this for Thanksgiving. I baked the cake and made up the filling the night before and put it together on Thanksgiving day. It was awesome, very easy, looked great and got rave reviews from my guests. One of my guests said it was the best cake they have ever had.

Made this for the first time and I want to make it again for Christmas! I also used cajeta instead of caramel topping and used spice cake instead of yellow cake, so no need to use extra spices. I actually wanted a little more filling, so next time i will add more cream cheese and pumpkin and definitely add nuts into the cake batter too! Everyone enjoyed
My family loves this cake and it was easy to make. I let them drizzle their own slices with Carmel syrup so they get what they want instead of covering the cake with it.
Love this cake! I leave no recipe untouched - so I added 1/2 can of condensed milk to the filling. Everyone LOVED it! Much better and easier than pumpkin pie
