Made this cake last Thanksgiving and not only did everyone LOVE it, they all asked me to print them the recipe! And insist I make it this year again.. maybe this is our new tradition dessert. I didn't have pumpkin pie spice so i just used a mix of nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove. Which is all pumpkin pie spice is made of really.. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!

RAVE reviews. Made it for a church social, people were lining up for it, scraped the crumbs off the serving dish. Everyone wanted the recipe but I don't want everyone to know how easy it was!

Made this recipe for a group of elderly ladies that I invited to my home. Cake was so easy to make and looks like you have really worked hard! However it is also a very delicious and moist cake. Served the cake on little china dessert plates and had coffee with it. Ladies enjoyed the cake and had a lovely time!

I made this cake for the first time for Thanksgiving 2009. I have been asked to make it again this year, by popular demand. My daughter's inlaws actually took half home last year. It is delicious, but very rich so a large piece is not necessary.

I make this cake several times every autumn season. It is so delicious and everyone loves it. The recipe is perfect as-is. I have, however, substituted english walnuts for the pecans when I didn't have the pecans on hand or forgot them. The recipe is just as good with the walnut subsitution.

This is the easiest, most moist, and delicious cake I've ever made. My family and co-workers love it and request it every Thanksgiving. It is perfectly moist and surprising light.

This is an awesome recipe and a crowd pleaser! I like to use a Butter Pecan cake mix instead of yellow. I also like to brown the pecans in butter and sugar to carmelize them and I put pecans in each layer. I think this would make a great trifle if you didn't want to go to the trouble to layer it, but it isn't hard to layer either. YUM!! A family favorite...even the kids that don't like pecans!
