I took this cake to a dessert meeting and got rave reviews! We have some members that do not like overly sweet things (!) and they enjoyed it as well. I did find that I had to cook it longer then it stated, but it turned out delicious!

This cake was a great success at work and was very easy. To make cutting the layers easier, I removed them from the pans, I froze them about 30 minutes, then used an electric knife to cut them. The cut frozen layers were very easy to move!

While I was making this cake, I thought it was a little time consuming. After it was done, I knew I was wrong. This cake was loved by all who tasted it and I have given out the recipe several times.

Excellent substitute for pumpkin pie and a lot prettier. I made it for a birthday party and it got rave reviews. The cake DID have to cook longer than the 20-22 minutes called for in the recipe. More like 30 or so.

Very easy, super delicious!! I made it for a party and everyone asked for the recipe! I will make this again and again!!!! (I dusted it with powdered sugar instead of pecans, made a pretty presentation)

Made this cake for an office birthday and everyone raved about this cake, not only the way it looked, but how delicious it tasted. It was very easy to make, and everyone asked for copies of the recipe. I've baked it several times since, and it's a cake that can't be beat!!
