This was outstanding and impressive for my Thanksgiving dessert. My brother thought it came from a bakery and loved it. The recipe was easy to follow. The pumpkin flavor and texture was light, not heavy. I will definitely make this a Thanksgiving tradtion.

Let me be the 1501st person to rave about this recipe. The cake was great. Not to sweet and extremely moist. I made a couple of changes that did not hurt the recipe. I made my own whipped cream to add to the cream cheese frosting and used a small amount of cinnamon and nutmeg in place of the pumpkin spice. I also did not use the caramel sauce on top, but a small dusting of powdered sugar and walnuts. When I make the cake again, I will add more walnuts in between the layers. Everyone loved this cake!
I made this for a family gathering. I got compliments on how good it looked as soon as I walked in the door. And many compliments on how delicious it was! I will definitely be making this cake again!

Made this twice- the first time the filling wasn't setting up right, so I added some instant pudding and it turned out great. Everyone had to ask me twice if I made it or bought it then they asked for the recipe. So easy to make. Might try melting carmels for my next cake.
