This dessert was fun to make. Very delicious and really better the next day and the day after that,etc. I would definitely make this again.
Awesome is the only word that describes the cake. I made it for Christmas, and what a hit.
I tried this recipe with pumpkin & i have altered it and made it with apple pie filling. I beat the pie filling so it had small chunks of apple instead of slices & substituted the pumpkin pie spice for apple pie spice. It also was awesome! I dont add the caramel/nuts until i serve each slice tho.
This is a great recipe.
This is a very good cake recipe. I prefer to frost the top of the cake rather than use the caramel topping. Its just easier and there is plenty of frosting. I just sprinkle a few chopped nuts on top for decoration. Everyone asks for the recipe.
This cake was a huge hit at a recent family party. Everyone kept asking for the recipe. It was easy to make and looked pretty amazing. Very yummy!
I've made this cake a few times. Everyone enjoyed it. I'm always asked when I'm making it again. I roasted the pecans to bring out their flavor plus it gives them a better color.
I made this cake for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit! I had requests to make it two more times for Christmas parties. The guests were so impressed that they took a picture of it!! I used more pecans and caramel on top then advised.
This cake rocked my Thanksgiving dinner. It was light and very tasty. I avoided the carmel and nuts and just sprinkled powdered sugar on top. It was PERFECT!
I made this cake and it was fantastic! I made it for Thanksgiving this year. I made the acutal cake layers the night before and then put it all together the morning of Thanksgiving. It was very impressive. The video helped me learn how to cut the layers in half so it's worth watching. My finished cake looked exactly like the picture on the recipe. I will try a chocolate version next as my family likes chocolate much more than pumpkin. You will get so many compliments if you make this cake!
