So I cheated. I didn't have Pumpkin Pie Filling. I used Sweet Potato Pie filling instead. It still turned out wonderful and it's THE best cake I've ever tasted. Not to mention that it looks like magazine quality when finished. I'm debuting it for the family this Thanksgiving. It's not complex to make and no more difficult than a regular box cake. Wish I could rate it 20 stars!

Made this Cake last Christmas, it was a big hit. My family loved it and ate it instead of my famous cheesecake. Go figure. Covered the entire cake with the filling and used whipped cream instead of cool whip.I am making it this weekend for son's birthday he does not like cake but loves this dessert!

My Sis-in law made this cake for thanksgiving last year, & it was perfect. I tried it this year for a potluck halloween party & it was a huge success again! everyone was asking for the recipe!love this no-fail recipe! so easy yet sooooo good!

AMAZING! I took this to a Halloween party and everyone LOVED it. A couple people said it was the best cake they had ever had without even knowing I made it. I followed the recipe exactly and used light cream cheese and light cool whip. Perfect!

I made this cake 2x last year, once for Thanksgiving and I can't remember the other time, but I can say that this cake was the hit of Thanksgiving!!!!!! I love this cake and I am making it again for Thanksgiving this year. One thing, I had a lot of filling left over so I frosted the whole cake with it and still did the pecans and caramel on top and it ended up so tasty and yummy, I love it!!!!

accidently put in double the pumpkin so it came out a little more moist and soft than it should have been, made it hard to cut. Besides that the flavor was great and the recipe was pretty forgiving

I actually made this recipe for a work Halloween party. I adjusted the recipe to make it into cupcakes instead of the 4 layer cake because I knew it would be easier for the guests to eat. I got soo many compliments on the cupcakes. They were extremely moist and delicious. I used organic pumpkin pie that I made myself. Now the icing is why this recipe has 4 stars instead of 5. I just wasn't impressed with it. But definitely am going to make it again, and am willing to give the icing another try! Great recipe!

Made the recipe the first year it was published. Was an instant hit and disappeared immediately. Now, I have to make two cakes each year at Thanksgiving - one for the family and one for my husband. A friend was looking for a dessert recipe last year, I recommended this one. She ended up making two for her family.

I didn't make it but boy did I enjoy it! Our pastor's wife made it for Sunday afternoon dessert and it was beautiful, light, fluffy and positively sinful! I am planning on making this for work very soon! Fantastic!
