Made the recipe the first year it was published. Was an instant hit and disappeared immediately. Now, I have to make two cakes each year at Thanksgiving - one for the family and one for my husband. A friend was looking for a dessert recipe last year, I recommended this one. She ended up making two for her family.
I didn't make it but boy did I enjoy it! Our pastor's wife made it for Sunday afternoon dessert and it was beautiful, light, fluffy and positively sinful! I am planning on making this for work very soon! Fantastic!
We had this for a gathering of friends recently. I thought it was amazing. It was also very pretty on a cake stand, and even prettier plated. My friend said she usually cuts the pieces, then individually applies the caramel and a few pecans on each piece. Elegant!!
This cake was good, but it tasted just like a pumpkin roll,I guess I was expecting something different.Very easy to make,and it turned out pretty.

Today will be at least the 6th time making this cake. It is surely a big hit with everyone and my sister requests it every year for her birthday.
I made this cake for a family get together and it was a big hit. I love to try recipes with pumpkin and this cake was so yummy and traveled very well without sliding or tipping. I just added the pecans and caramel before putting on the table.
I made this cake and took it to a Christmas gathering. EVERYONE loved it and wanted to recipe. I was just thinking about it and came here to make sure I had all the ingredients.
I LOVE this cake - everytime I make it people ask for the recipe! It's even better after a day or two when the cake has really absorbed the caramel - however it's usually all eaten by that point!! YUM!!! :)
