I have made this recipe twice now and it was a hit both times! The first time I was a little nervous about putting too much filling between the cake because I did not want it to gush out the side when I put the cake on top, but it did not do that at all.

I am not a fan of pumpkin anything, but I love this cake. I have made it several times and always get rave reviews. I always refer them to Kraft.com. making it right now for the Church Christmas party tomorrow.

Love this cake! I've made it twice. It's a huge hit. I have square not round pans, and use walnuts not pecans, and skip the caramel drizzle, I put a last dollop of the frosting on top like a "medallion", sprinkle with chopped walnuts and top with a dusting of powdered sugar. ( I also put chopped walnuts between the layers on top of frosting). Very good Very pretty.

I baked this for an office luncheon. I made it just like the recipe said and it was delicious! I baked the cake the night before, made the filling, but didn't assemble it until right before the luncheon. It was the talk of the luncheon! I would definitely make this again. I read in another baker's review that she made cupcakes out of it, and I'd love to try that idea!

I accidentally put a whole can of pumpkin into the cake the first time I made it and it was amazing. I made it correctly the next time and no one like it as well. I will definitely be increasing the pumpkin this year :)

I'm not a fan of pumpkin but my husband is so I made this for his birthday and he loved it. I thought it was great too. I doubled the amount of frosting and frosted the whole cake. I omitted the carmel sauce and the pecans.

This is one of my favorite cakes now, and seems to be all my family and friends also since they all keep asking for me to make it. Even the ones that don't like pumpkin ( which happens to be a # of them) likes it!
