This was awesome! It looked so impressive when my in-laws came to town. I forgot the whipped cream in the "frosting" so I just served the pieces with it. This has a great look!

The folks who revised this recipe were wrong to do so. It is easy, delicious and looks like you spent the day in the kitchen. Perfect for any fall dessert, I highly recommend this recipe to everyone. All the cooks at my workplace have copied the recipe off the website and most have already made it and raved about it.

This cake was very easy to make. I changed a few things only because I had a chocolate cake in the house. I used a chocolate cake and added the pumpkin to it. Worked out fine. For the topping I used Chocolate syrup , the pecans and whipped cream in the can for decoration on top, about 4 or 5 pretty squirts. The filling was made the same. It was a big hit in my house. My 5 yr old Granddaughter thought that it was awesome! I think a spice cake or carrot cake would be so good too. Going to make this to take to work soon. Cake is fun to make!

I made this cake for a party. Everybody loved it! Except I doubled it, and made it a 1 layer sheet cake.

Excellent - everyone thought I spent a lot of time on the dessert. Everyone liked it - even those that don't like pumpkin.
