Made it recently for Easter dinner, I also changed it from coconut to chocolate for a birthday dinner. Very easy and good.
I made this cake for Easter and it was super easy and sooooo delicious. I will definitely make it again even if there's no special occasion. Thanks lots for a great recipe.
Very moist and the frosting is just right. Have made this several times and the recipe is always requested. My father-in-laws favorite. Easy to bring to work for dinners.
This was a big hit at Easter dinner, enjoyed by everyone. Comments included "looks magazine perfect, and tastes as good!" Next time I will experiment with tweaking the pudding/Cool Whip portion of the recipe. I used sugar-free pudding mix this time and that may have contributed to the fact that the "frosting" was a little cake collapsed after slicing about half of it. I will use regular pudding next time, and maybe add a little cream cheese or even store bought frosting to the mix. And I will add just a little more coconut to the cake batter also. But this was a great addition to the dessert table at our Easter dinner.
I make this cake every year for Easter. It's so good that the coconut lovers fight for it. Last year I made the recipe & frosting as directed, but cut the 9 in. rounds as directed in the "Bunny Cut-Up Cake" (a Kraft recipe). This year I made cupcakes. Both were winners. I will continue to make this cake again and again.
This is a very good and easy cake to make. There are 3 people in my family and it was gone in 1 day. This tells me how good it is.
i make birthday cakes for my coworkers. this is the most requested cake. everyone enjoys it including my self.thanks for the recipe.
I've made this recipe several times using a white cake mix. I took it to work twice and everyone wanted the recipe. I've even been asked when I'm going to make it again. White cake with coconut is my Mom's favorite cake, so after testing it out on the people at work, I took it to Easter dinner. My Mom was blown away. The second time I made it, I forgot to put the coconut in the batter when I was mixing it up, but sprinkled a little on the top of the batter before putting them in the oven. The coconut was a nice toasted brown when the cakes were done. Delicious!!! This is one cake I'll make again and again!!
I had been looking for a good coconut cake recipe as always I can count on Kraft. It was great.
It looks delisious I am going to make it for our next church pot luck lunch in March.
