I've made this several times for my family. There is never any leftovers, they eat it up. I have a picky eater like most families and even she ate it.
I made something very similar for my family. All I did was dump thick pork chops in a crock pot and add 1/2 bottle of bbq sauce. I shredded the pork when I got home and put it on rolls. I have a large family in which there is always someone who doesn't like what we are eating...EVERYONE raved about this dinner!! I will be making it again.
I haven't made this particular recipe, but I will soon and the description sounded sinfully delicious. I will let you know the outcome once my family has tried it
I also used canned diced tomatoes, and I put the whole thing together in 5 minutes in the morning and it was all ready when I got home. I made it for a little get-together and everyone loved it! I can't wait to make it again.
I loved this recipe! I used canned tomatoes and it still came out great. I made this for my sister and my children and they enjoyed it as well. You can make it in the crock-pot and forget about it until it's time to eat. Dinner can't get any easier than that! A defenite keeper!
So Good! The whole family loved this recipe. It was really easy and filling, too! Will definitely make it again.
I used a 1 1/2 pound bottom round roast and omitted the Italian seasoning mix. I added 1 can diced tomaotes instead of medium tomato and I think it came out very good. Next time I will try it with pork.
I substituted 3 butterfly porkchops for the beef and used Chipotle seasoning in place of Italian Seasoning. It was wonderful and will be a repeat many times! Thanks!
I used Kraft's Brown Sugar BBQ sauce and also substituted several canned tomatoes in place of fresh since I didn't have any--it was great! My family loved it!
This was a hit, but I had to use more BBQ sauce than the recipe called for. Also, made it once with another BBQ sauce brand and it was not as good.
