I cooked the noodles ahead of time. And I added other veggies from the fridge. Was not runny for me at all.

I agree with another comment that this is too watery and I even reduced the water to about a cup. Do you even need a recipe for this???? Basically it's jar sauce, cooked noodles and ground beef. Not very flavorful nor creative.

This recipe is almost like gulash but you are using spagetti sauce and water instead of using tomato juice, My family liked the dish minus the cheese, it is simple and easy, but nothing special. My husband doesn't like mushrooms so we replaced the mushrooms with green peppers......

Agree with other reviewers who advised this recipe was bland. Would have to add some other ingredients or seasonings for this to taste good. We won't be making this again.

I have made this dish several times exactly as the recipe directs. It is definitely simple "family fare" -- not fancy in any way, but relatively easy to make and quite satisfying.

I added a can of stewed tomatoes (drain first) and some chopped up olives. It was a hit!
