I haven't actually tried this yet but am giving it 5 stars for awesome idea, and am going to give it a whirl for breakfast tomorrow! And thank you dornaci for the granola suggestion. My son also goes to a peanut free school and isn't crazy about other types of nuts.

YUMMY! I thought it tasted very good. I used frozen strawberries that I had let thaw in the fridge for a couple of hours and the juice from the strawberries made it SO GOOD! I will be having this again!

My daughter said this tasted horrible. The flour tortilla ruined the sweetness of the cream cheese and fruit. Also she couldn't unwrap it to eat the inside after it had stayed cold in her lunchbox all day. We were disappointed.

I know it is hard to make things to suit everyone, my son is deathly allergic to milk and eggs, so instead of the cream cheese he liked creamy tofu. And I don't add nuts to every one I make.

Looks like a good recipe except for the peanuts, my daughter also has a peanut allergy. But to the person above if I were working in a daycare I would think twice about using peanut butter, you never know one of your children may have a peanut allergy.

I have not yet made this but I will for my day care kids. I do have a question tho could you use peanut butter instead of peanuts ? I was thinking of the fear of chocking.

My daughter is allergic to peanuts, so I substituted them with homemade granola. Good for kids in a nut-free school too. She loved it and so did her friends!

My daughter takes this for lunch nearly every day. We have come up with our own variation. Apple slices with cream cheese, raisins and nuts. She loves it!

I substituted walnuts for the peanuts and this recipe tasted awesome! My 4 yr old loved it too! I've also tried it with vanilla yogurt instead of cream cheese! It's great!
