I added 1/2 tsp of almond extract. I also used white choc/cho swirled chips and drizzled melted white choc on top..yummy.
Fabulous and easy. Now I am asked to bring these for every cookie exhange or teacher's gift.
very easy to make even for me! These cookies were a hit. A single recipe makes over 4 dozen and they very freeze well.
I've made these cookies a few times already and everyone loves them including my children! I just sent them to school for care packages they were making up for community groups and they were calling me asking for the recipe! I do use craisins instead of the cranberries. The one part I don't like about the recipe is having to chop up the white chocolate but I just saw the suggestion someone made about using white chocolate chips and I think I will try that next time!
these turned out yummy!
Oh my these are good!!! I too made this recipe for a cookie exchange. Absolutely the best cookie I have made and it was definitely the hit of the party. As we sampled the goodies I was constantly being asked for the recipe. I will make this recipe again - soon!
This recipe is awesome!! I made this for a cookie exchange, and got rave revues. It's also one of the easiest cookies I've ever made. It does make closer to 5 dozen, so it's a good one if you need a lot of cookies for an event. I did find that it took closer to14 to 15 minutes to bake, and the bottoms of the cookies come out nice and golden. I know this cookie will become a family favorite!
These are delicous! It was hard to tell when they were done because they never got brown. I also out the butter in the microwave to soften up before I mixed it with the sugar.
The tart cranberries and the sweet white chocolate are a great mix! Want to try the craisins next time.
These are some of the best cookies EVER! I make these every year for Christmas cookie exchanges and gifts and I always get lots of compliments on them ... and they're really easy to make, too.
