These cookies are great.They are a great substitute for traditional sugar cookies for the holidays.I could'nt keep my family from eating them! The sugar and butter is a little hard to whip but it is definately worth it.

A real hit at a cookie exchange & with teen football players. I used a mixture of flour/sugar to dip a glass in to flatten. They come out better if flattened.
My son is almost 3 yrs old and he just loved them. My husband, who is the pickiest, loved them until I told him there were cranberries in it, then he wouldn't touch them...that's okay more for me. These are good, good, good!!!!
Two words: Easy and Delicious! This was very simple to make, and my family ate every last cookie within a few days!
I am going to a cookie swap. I wanted something different. After making several different types of cookies, I made this one. I was amazed! This is the one that won my vote to take. Infact I'm taking a copy of the recipe to go with the cookies to the guests they will be swapped with. It is the easiest cookie recipe I ever made and has the most yeild. They are light, delicate and yummy!!!! A perfect "10" star recipe.
Wonderfully easy, and delicious in a grown up sort of way...the only people who didn't rave about this cookie, were those that really dislike cranberries in general...otherwise it was an absolute hit...everyone wanted the recipe!
I tested this recipe for a cookie exchange and will make them. It doesn't turn out like the picture but they definitely have the shortbread consistency and are crispy too. You also have to knead the dough and roll them into balls instead of using a spoon. Mine didn't brown but were done and delicious!
