This was a good recipe. I will use more BBQ sauce next time and possibly a little salt. Very easy prep and good taste overall. It's a keeper for us.
I followed this recipe to the T and it was excellent! It turned out the perfect consistency without adding any water or other liquid to the BBQ sauce. My daughter (who is a picky eater) chomped her sandwich down quicker than me...this recipe is a keeper!
This was just okay the first time I made it. Next time I will add more BBQ sauce. I would have given it only 2 stars but my husband and son really liked it.
This was a really great and different recipe for the holidays. It's not so sweet, but yet it satisfies the sweet tooth after a meal.
This was good and very easy. All I did was put the pork in the crockpot, put the sliced onions on top and used two packets of beefy onion mix (since I doubled the recipe) and put in on high for nine hours. Then I shredded the pork with a fork and let it cool. I did use honey bbq sauce, the entire container and I had no problems. Everyone in the house liked it. I omitted the cheese. Will make again.
I made this by following the recipe to the letter and it turned out horrible! I read some of the other reviews and will try it again but this time I will add the BBQ sauce at the end like some of the others suggested.
My husband took one bite and threw the rest away. So, no will never make again. I ate mine but wasn't impressed.
My Family lloves these sandwiches. I love the ease of them.
Nothing special, just a pulled pork BBQ sandwich, but it was good. I used a whole container of BBQ sauce, a package of dry onion soup, and about 1/2 c. of water though. It was super moist, and we had plenty for leftovers. A great weekend meal, for something different.
This turned out excellent. If the lid is on tight it will not dry out or burn. And I have used many different flavors of barbeque sauce for this and all turned out great.
