I couldn't find a frozen puff pastry sheet at my supermarket to make these, so I used Pilsbury Frozen Crescent roll dough instead, which worked just fine. These were sooo good, and I'm going to be eating them for breakfast instead of dessert. Mine didn't taste like realturnovers though. They tasted like biscuits with a chunky jam or marmelade inside. This could be becasue i didn't use the puff pastry sheet, but they were good nonetheless.

I made this for a brunch and it was a hit!! A lot easier to make than I expected, and I substituted Emerald Pecan Nuts (pecan pie flavor) instead of the toasted pecans & it was delicious!!

Very Good! So good that my guest had three. I used as dessert for brunch. Next time I'll use Guava Paste to make it tropical.

I made these as a dessert, but they are better suited for breakfast, and are probably best right out of the oven. I added cinnamon to the cream cheese mixture, and they were yummy! They were super easy, and I will make them again.

I added cinnamon to half of squares for a added delight.

I think these are really good. The only thing I did different is add about 1/4 tsp of cinnamon. I made them for the second time today.

It's easy enough, and taste great, but the apples seem to be overpowered by cream cheese.
