I think there was too much milk in this recipe - the eggs never got to the level of firmness that we like. Otherwise, it was fine, but I think I'll look for another recipe for this kind of dish.

I have made this recipe for my job's food day 3 times. The first two times I made it as directed and everyone loved it. The last time I made it, I added crumbled bacon and used spicy bulk sausage to make it more meaty and add a kick of flavor. Once again, it was a hit. I will keep this as one of my "regulars"!

I make this all the time, everyone loves it. However, i use seasoned crutons instead of plain bread and a little more cheese.

Correction: I added french bread instead of white bread.

I recommend not adding any salt. There is enough salt in the sausage and cheese that this recipe shouldn't call for any salt. My husband thinks it ruined the meal. Otherwise, we would have this again. It was easy to make and the kids liked it. I would prefer it to have onions and bell pepper in for a flavor other than meat.

I needed a quick and easy breakfast casserole recipe for "food day" at work, and this was perfect! I used 4 slices of french bread, instead of 6 slices of white, and I only used 1 1/2 cups of milk instead of 2. I also sauteed onions and tomatoes and added that to my egg mixture. I made two pans - one with sausage, and one with ham, and both were gone by 10:30 a.m.! I will definitely be making this again, not only for work, but at home for my family! Thanks!!

My husbands boss came over for a brunch and he ate half of this. And my grandkids just love it, and so does my husband and myself. Don't know anyone who does not like it. And it is so easy, you can make the night before.

Quick to make and gone almost as quickly. I used refrigerated fully cooked and browned sausage patties laid out on top with one for each serving. It looked attrative and saved a step.
