Using sweet pickles and a sweet meat--honey or maple ham--is really good for this recipe!

not the best flavor combination. we made for a casual party and several people tried them but did not go back for seconds. we had a lot of leftovers that got trashed.

SOOO easy and quick and everybody loves them. I have also tried this with bread and butter spears and found we actually liked those better than the dill pickles.

Until this point I have always hated pickles, but even I find this recipe delicious! If you don't have time to make them into roll-ups, you can also throw them in a food processor and turn it into a delicious dip for crackers. Enjoy!

I make this all the time, it tastes great, it's good for you and it's quick and easy. I agree with the Make It Easy tip...definatly pat your ham dry with a paper towel and maybe even your pickle. To serve at a party you can cut them thinner and stick toothpicks in them to keep them together especially if you don't have a lot of time to refrigerate. AMAZING!
