These meatballs are so delicious. My family loved them. I added 1/4 cup of chopped onion, 2 tb. of chopped green bell pepper, and 1/4 ts. of oregano. I prefer my meatballs moist and this recipe is perfect. I don't own a lot of professional bakeware; but I came up with a way to make your meatballs less greasy. Take a rectangular, shallow baking dish and line it with aluminum foil; on top of this add a cooling rack. Spray the rack with baking spray and put your meatballs on top. This way your meatballs do not soak up all that grease and clean-up is easier.
very moist
Quick & easy! We made subs and added extra spices. Will try freezing as there are always hungry kidos in our house.
They were very moist, but not very italian in flavor! I don't think the chicken stuffing was a good choice either... it might be better perhaps with the pork or herb stuffing. I did it by the directions the 1st time.. I'm going to be revising the recipe the next time.
These meatballs were simple to make, and tasty too. The only thing I added to the recipe was some fresh chopped onion. My husband LOVED them :)
very good...they are very moist
I didn't make these yet. But, when I do I think I'll cut the recipe in half. 2 lbs is a LOT of meatballs!
These are very good with the onion soup mix added. I also made a meatloaf out of this recipe, with the onion soup mix, changed the water to 2/3 cup, parm cheese to 1/2 cup and added 1 can of chicken gravy. I also topped the meatloaf with 1/2 can of chicken gravy before baking at 350 for 2 good!
I made a double batch for a party, so I'm not sure if that was the problem. However, they were not very flavorful meatballs so I don't think I would make these again.
We loved this recipie. The meatballs were so moist! We definitely preferred it the night that we made it as opposed to the leftovers the next day. We will make this again. I read the comments and added Lipton Onion Soup Mix too. This gave the meatballs great flavor!
