I agree that the first commenter must not have used the instant pudding. I did not have much trouble making this recipe, but be careful not to overcook the "crepes" or they will get too crunchy for this. It is also a very messy/sticky recipe. I didn't think the effort was worth the result.
To the cook who posted thier review on 11/12/04 -- Are you sure you used INSTANT pudding mix? "Instant" pudding mix doesn't requre cooking to thicken. I tried this recipe and loved the results; it wasn't runny at all. Adding a little cinnamon to the butter/brown sugar mix adds a nice kick.
This recipe was horrible. It doesn't call for the pudding to be all you have is a watery mixture....We took one bite and threw away. Way too much butter.
