Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread

Really tasty - my husband loved it so much that he wouldn't let me take it to the party - luckily there were a lot of desserts so it wasn't missed.

I cooked this for 40 minutes and couldn't even get a toothpick through the top it was so hard. Forty minutes cannot possibly be right. It was a beautiful cake to look at, turned out exactly like the picture, but it was too done.

I've never made monkey bread before and was pleasantly surprised by this recipe. Its taste is similar to cinnamon rolls or donut holes. The icing wasn't sweet enough for me but I realized why once I tasted the bread. The bread is incredibly sweet and I could only eat about 4 or 5 balls/pieces. This was probably because I increased the sugar to 1 cup since my husband often complains that things aren't sweet enough. Next time I will be sticking straight to the recipe because the added sugar made it TOO sweet. Follow the recipe exactly and it'll turn out great!

I made this the other day, I thought it was a good and a fun idea than any normal bread/cake. But I do have to say the whole outside of the bread was too hard so next time I'am going to cut the baking time in half cause there only biscuits which do not take too long to cook as it is. And I did add a little more cinnamon and add 1tbsp of brown sugar.The butter I thought was was too much. When you drizzling it over it just seems alot cause afterwards when you look into the pan looks like it's filled with butter,and it kind confused me thinking if I did something wrong. Did anyone have the same issue? This is a very good recipe i just wished there was more of the icing all over the bread. I need to figure out how to get it in the middle as well. Overall very good

So fast to put together and bakes up great!

this recipe was super, simple to make and didn't require an extra trip to the store since i had the ingredients on hand. it is a little too 'biscuity' in flavor for me. i think the next time i try it, i will put into a shallower pan so more crust forms on the biscuits. i added a little vanilla to the glaze also - i think it tasted better after :)

WOW, such a huge hit for a yummy Sunday family breakfast. We only had 1 package of biscuits so I cut the recipe in 1/3. I'm actually glad I did because the 6 of us weren't even able to finish all of it since it's so big. Of course I used a smaller fluted cake pan as a result. My girls said they wanted that now every birthday morning :) A keeper!
