Easy Chocolate Trifle

I made this for Easter. It was delicious!

This is also good following a similar Kraft recipe using brownines cut up instead of cake... also, I like to add sliced strawberries to the top.

Ok, I used to hate those people who modified recipes to the point it was no longer recognized as the original recipe! BUT, sometimes you have to :( I find it incredibly difficult to find the four serving packages of instant pudding of any flavor, as in this case for the chocolate instant pudding. I even looked for the sugar free version. Didn't happen. So, as in many other recipes, I used 2 of the 6 serving size. I still used the same amount of everything else. I have had to do this with other recipes, it's never a problem. Also, I couldn't find toffee bars. I used the 8 pack of fun size Butterfingers. Yummy! I would definately make this again! The kids loved it!

I used a low sugar cake mix, sugar free pudding & free cool whip - everyone raved about it. I also made a trifle using low sugar white cake mix, sugar free pistachio pudding & free cool whip - I sprinkled chopped walnuts on the top - DELICIOUS

Recommended by a good friend. I've been making this for over 2 yrs & now its a given for each family gathering to bring this amazing dessert. Its ALWAYS a major hit! So elegant & simple to make. This is a BIG crowd pleaser! The taste is just explosive!

This was incredibly easy to make- and I, like another reviewer on here, threw in one layer of Comstock cherry pie filling. I deleted the crushed candy bars/cookies (too much). The cherries really made this dessert last night at dinner. Everyone was impressed and loved this!

I made this for Mother's day as we made a special day for my Mother-in-law as she had just had her 88 th birthday. It was a big hit for the special desert of the day. I made a lot more sweets but this one was the biggist hit of the day. Thanks for this recipe as I will be using this again and again.

I substituted the chocolate pudding for cookies and cream pudding and substituted the toffee for crushed oreos. I used devil's food cake mix. It was a big hit, feeds a big group and I will make again!!

I have made this recipe several times and my guests go crazy over it. I have made it exactly as stated and I have varied. I have used 1/2 cake and 1/2 brownie-awesome! I have substituted the toffee for oreos-big hit. I have made it with sugar-free jello and whip cream-nobody noticed. The dessert looks great too!

THIS WAS GREAT AND EASY TO MAKE. IT LOOKED GREAT TO SERVE TO MY GUESTS. THEY ENJOYED IT AS MUCH AS WE DID.
