I found this receipe to be very easy. I found that after we put the candy on top they fell off so I put them back in the oven to adhere to the cookie. Well I accidentaly kept them in too long and the candy melted. What a treat that was. The candy made the stars glisten and was even more pleasing to the eye. We did the same thing with the Christmas tree cut outs too. When I gave the cookies away for neighbors they all raved. I will definately make these again for next year.

These cookies were delicious, I didn't put the candies on top, I iced them and sprinkled colored sugar on top, I will definitely make them next year.

Hooray! A cut-out cookie recipe with NO eggs! I have a grandson who, until now, couldn't sample grandma's cut-outs because he has an egg alergy! They are very easily made and extremely tasty! I found that if the candies are added about 1 minute before baking is completed, they do stay on and are very pretty! Thank you for sharing!!

Cookie recipe is wonderful, very light and good tasting; however, the candies do not, no matter what you do, stay on. We made a second batch using sprinkles and that worked out much better.

The title "sugar" cookie is alittle misleading. These cookies are not as sweet as regular sugar cookies, which is wonderful. So, when you go to add the sugar candy toppings(or frosting), you don't end up with double sugared cookies. I really like this easy recipe.

I thought the recipe was was quite good for the cookie, but when I tried to sprinkle on the candy toppings, most of it fell off. I suggest a glaze be put on and then sprinkled with your'e favorite toppings. I just used powder sugar and a small amount of water and basted each cookie before putting different toppings on.

This is the easiest and best sugar cookie recipe I have tried. It's perfect for decorating. I made two batches and had my son's friends over for a cookie decorating party. They held up to their rough decorating techniques . They are also YUMMY! So light, and full of flavor. I love that the dough doesn't have to chill overnight. You can get right to rolling and cutting! Try it you'll love it

I made this recipe for my daughter's baking day in kindergarten. The dough was very easy to use, and the cookies were delightful; same or better as premium store bought sugar cookies. Very, very EASY to work with, and clean up was so easy. Nice!

This is the best sugar cookie I've ever made. I made it for my son's Thanksgiving feast at mommy's day out. Everyone loved it and wanted the recipe. My son is allergic to eggs, so this was perfect for him. Most cookie recipes call for eggs. This was his first cookie he had ever had and he loved it too!
