A very easy dough to work with, nice texture. I found that just a few minutes chill time in the fridge (only about 5-10) helped a bit. To me this was more like a butter cookie than a regular sugar cookie. I think the cream cheese helps add flavor. I think I'll try making them again only substitute margarine for the butter and see if the flavor is more what I was looking for. Everyone in my family loved them!

Very easy to make and simply delicious. I took them to work and everyone asked for the recipe. The best sugar cookie recipe I've used and eaten.

Oh Yeah, cream cheese makes everything good. I would refrigerate the dough though because it was a little sticky. I slightly underbake them so they stay soft and aren't dry and crumbly. I would definitely make them again.

Made these cookies this past weekend with my 2.5 year old. He help knead, roll, picked the cutter shapes and pushed them in the dough. Simple to make. Make sure you combine all flour well. I knead the flour in as my mother taught me to do. It keeps the flour from flying around and it give a more consistant dough for firm cookie doughs. Cookies are soft and tasty. This is the sugar cookie recipe I've been searching for. Contains no eggs so if the little one eats some of the dough no fear of raw eggs.

I tried to make these cookies but the dough was more the consistency of pie crust dough(it was crumbly) than cookie dough. I actually started to roll the cookies out as sugested but the dough would not hold together for me to do this. Not what I would call the best cookie recipe.

I got this recipe from the food & family holiday 2004 magazine. I followed the directions verbatim and the dough just wasn't doughy. It also didn't say to refrigerate for 30 min. like the online recipe says. We were unable to shape the cookies so we just balled them. They came out exactly like a bisquit or a scone. Good flavor but not Sugar cookies.
