I have made this several times. My husband loves it and often requests it. The only change I make is adding a little extra brown gravy to the mix. Excellent recipe!
very bland family is not picky eaters but they all said no this one.
I've been making this recipe for several years now and we love it! It's the best meatloaf I've ever made and the only recipe I use now. The only thing I do differently is add about a cup of sauteed, chopped onions to the mix. We also always do the Swedish meatballs the second night and like those a lot (I'd give that 4 stars). Both are so easy and I love getting 2 meals out of one main dish!
These were AMAZING and so easy. I halved the recipe and also added chopped onion.
The family really enjoyed this. I used the Cornbread Stove Top Stuffing, and added minced onions. Yummy! Very easy. I didn't make meatballs, just used my mini loaf pan and made eight little loafs. We had four for dinner, and I'll freeze the other four.
I've made this recipe twice. I found that it's much easier to mix and shape if you blend the water, gravy, and eggs, then add the stuffing mix and let the crumbs soak for a few minutes before adding the ground beef. I also tried this recipe using Stovetop Savory Herb stuffing mix. Try it -- it's da bomb! No more sad little ketchup-y meatloves in our house!!
hubby and toddler loved it.
Super easy and great flavor. I added a little onion and green pepper for flavor. Also I make serving size mini loaves instead of large loaves so everyone gets their own.
Very yummy with mashed potatoes and gravy. So easy too.
My family loves this meatloaf! The only thing is I add a little onion and minced garlic to the mix. I have been making this recipe for some time and it still is a winner!
