The oat mixture was very dry and did not make crumbs (I added more butter to the topping). I made 3/4 of the cramberry sauce and used it all. I haven't cut them yet but I think the squares will fall apart when I do. Don't they come out tiny if you cut 24?

I included this in my cookie tray gifts for Christmas, and it's delicious, and colorful. I didn't have time to make the Brandied Cranberry Sauce, so I used the canned whole cranberries and o.j. as someone else suggested, and it worked very well! I'll include this one again next year!

Really good recipe -- and the fresh cranberry sauce is delicious. I couldn't get 24 bars out of it, but what I did get was yummy. Also, I would recommend using a little bit more cranberry sauce --a tad more than a cup -- because it is difficult to spread.

My family loved this!!! I used whole wheat flour instead of white flour, and used about 1 1/2 cups of whole berry canned cranberry sauce with about a Tb. of orange juice added to it in place of the brandied sauce. I also made it in an 8x11.5 glass dish. They are very good, i may add some chopped pecans to the topping the next time I make them. Even my hubby(who isn't fond of cranberries) loved them!!

sounds good but i would try some coconut or macroon in this and i would make a thinner bars about 3/4 that size in height i think it would taste better i really enjoy the recipes and infirmation and tips your are great !

This recipe was a huge success at our Christmas dinner. There were no leftovers!! This is an easy and extremely delicious dessert and everyone wanted the recipe.

Made this for a holiday party. It sounded so good, but was still there at the end of the party. I guess everything else looked better. It was o.k.
