This sounded odd but it's fantastic!! The pears when cut thin are very soft and they add a great texture! I didn't even taste the maple syrup I put on so maybe more of that...read more

I use apples instead of pears and drizzle honey on top. It is very good.

This recipe is SOOO good! I actually forgot to toast the bread (b/c I was so hungry) and it was still good. (I later had another 2 slices that I did toast :)The only change I did was to put the walnuts on top of the cream cheese so that they didn't roll off when I took a bite. What a great, healthy snack. Also, very easy and quick to make.

This was a great, unique breakfast! I used strawberry cream cheese which added a different flavor. I left out the nuts because I didn't have any, but the extra crunch would have been nice. I will definitely make it again!

This was fast to make and delicious to eat! I put the walnuts on before placing the pear slices. This made it easier to eat without nuts falling all over the place. This nutritious breakfast stayed with me well into the lunch hour.

Although I did not add the walnuts to the toast, I must say that this was one of the most unique and delicious breakfasts that I have had in a long long time. I would highly recommend this to anybody with a sweet tooth or to anybody who wants to try a little something different. Wonderful.

I have two young children, so I mixed the cream cheese, walnuts, and syrup together to be less messy. The girls and I loved it and have it about once a week now.
