The hardest part was unwrapping the caramels! I took it for Thanksgiving instead of pecan pie and I will be making it for Christmas dinner.

I made this a few weeks ago to take to my coworkers, and they LOVED it. I am making it again tonight. I only made one small change to the recipe. Instead of making the crust I used store bought phyllo dough shells(the individual ones). This made it easier to eat in a casual atmosphere.

Made for a ladies christmas party but omited the choc and making them into individual tarts. They loved them that several asked for recipe and I am going to make them again for a dinner for my husband's company. Very easy recipe to make.

I made the recipe for my family but I decided to omit the melted chocolate because I didn't want it to be too sweet. The tart was easy to make but I wouldn't push the crust up the side because it seems to crumble too much. When you slice the tart it seems a bit hard but when you bite into it's edible and chewy. The recipe is easy, sweet and a good treat for any event. Toasting the pecans gives the tart a great flavor and I would recommend anyone to try this recipe.

This recipe is wonderful, easy, and worth the time. I added more chocolate topping for the chocoholics at my home. This is rich, more like a candy and goes a long way.

I got this recipe from my Kraft Foods Magazine. I made one for Thanksgiving at my house using the coffee and graham crackers crushed. Everyone loved it! I made one for Thanksgiving at my sister's house from a ready made graham cracker crust and I replaced the coffee with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Everyone loved it! NOTE: If you are making this version you don't need the graham cracker crumbs, the melted margarine, the instant coffee or the brown sugar. I simply added the teaspoon of cinnamon to the caramels and whipping cream. Bake your ready made crust first in a 325°F oven for about 10 minutes. Let cool then add the caramel nut mixture.
