This recipe is high in sodium, that is why I do not make it very often. Kraft, can you please cut out some of the sodium?
But when I do make it, I take finely chopped onions, green and/or red peppers, carrots, mushrooms and sautee them in connola or olive oil before adding them to the mac & cheese. I also add a little evaporated milk (in place of regular milk) and Velveeta Cheese. I have never tried zuccini or cucumbers but will do that next time.
