Excellent taste and easy to make!!! The only thing I would change would be to have more cream cheese in the icing.
my great-grandmother used to make a version of this that she got from her mom.Still to this day it is my favorite thing to eat anytime of the year.

I am not a talented baker, but this was so easy and so good, that my family actually ASKED me to make it again--and that doesn't happen often when I bake! haha
I loved the flavor this recipe, the walnuts were an awesome touch! Next time I will try it with peacans. Rolling the dough up into a towel is a technique I have never heard of in my entire life, but it was really fun to try out and worked great. The only problem I encountered was getting the filling to stay inside the roll. As I was rolling it up, filling was being squished out. Still delicious though :-)
THIS WAS SOOOOO DELICIOUS!! I made it for work and my husband and everyone just raved about it. It was my first time making a roll and it was easy and well worth it. I would recommend everyone making this at some point. I leave the walnuts out because my husband does not enjoy them and it was still amazing!!!
This was delicious! I was a little afraid of the roll cracking but it rolled very nicely. It received raves from all my friends. Instead of the suggested filling, however, I made my own because I didn't have cream cheese. I mixed some cream cheese frosting with some cool whip and some plain yogurt. Not too sweet, but just enough!
