Mac & Cheese Skillet Lasagna

Mac & Cheese Skillet Lasagna recipe

As surefire hits go, this skillet tops the list. It's meaty and cheesy like lasagna—only with mac and cheese. A whole lot easier to prepare too.

My picky six-year-old loved this recipe, that says a lot! It was very good coupled with green beans and homemade biscuits.

So simple and delicious! We used the deluxe mac-n-cheese with the creamy cheese...it was so much easier because you didn't have to add margarine or milk. I added another 1/2 cup of water and minced onions to the beef. Could be modified in so many ways. Will definitely become a regular in our house!!

This recipe was great!! It tasted delicious, was easy to make (one skillet), and clean up was a breeze!! I modified the recipe a bit, so i didnt have to make a trip to the grocery store, and it turned out great. I used fat free milk, and reduced fat cheddar. I also served it with some homemade garlic bread!!! I'll definitely whip this one up again!!

This was very good. Even my super-picky 10 year old liked it, and asked for seconds! It did need a little dash of salt. And I used Cheddar rather than Mozzarella, because that's what I had, and my daughter and husband always prefer Cheddar. Very easy to make, and quick; I had everything the recipe called for so no need for a trip to the store.

I didn't read the recipe too closely - so I did things a bit different. First, I used Boca Burger crumbles instead of ground beef. Second, I didn't cover the noodles, water and Burger mixture, so I ended up using quite a bit more H2O than 1 1/2 cups. lol But all in all - it was easy, quick and the kids thought it was great. Next time I'll add some diced tomatoes for even more flavor and color. (I wanted more flavor than 1/2 cup of sauce gave.)

I've made this recipe twice now and my family loves it. I like it because it is simple to make. Add a salad and you're done. I used a spaghetti sauce that was flavored other than the traditional flavor. Yum!

Very family friendly. I was very wary of the ingredients, but it turned out great. My picky four year old ate thirds!
