I have made this cheesecake for two Christmas seasons, and my husband and I look forward to it every year! I always get compliments on this cheesecake each time I make it!
My boyfriend and I made this to take to my parents' house for Christmas Eve. It was incredibly yummy!!! We upped the peppermint extract to 3/4 tsp. The store was out of white Baker's chocolate, so we used white chocolate chips instead. The recipe calls for 4 squares of chocolate, but we used 6 oz. of white chocolate chips. We iced it with Cool Whip and left it plain on top. Everyone LOVED it....... This is now my favorite cheesecake in the world!!! Thanks, Kraft!!!
This was delicious! I followed another reviewer's advice and made an oreo crust instead....soo good. I served it at a family Christmas get together tonight and everyone raved about it. Needless to say I am printing copies of it as I write this to hand out. :)
Excellent! My absolute favorite Christmas dessert ever! It's like eating Christmas... yum!
This has to be one of the best holiday cheesecake recipes I have ever made!! Try using chocolate graham crackers for the crust though, sooo yummy.
omg. Im not a big fan of minty flavored choc. so I was sceptical and so was my husband but I made it bc of the holiday theme and it was freakin awesome so good!!! This website has great cheesecake recipes!!!!
This was delicious! I made this for a cookie exchange party (all women that bake) and they all loved it! I also made it for Christmas dinner. What a yummy way to use some candy canes!
fabulous! I'm always substituting new toppings because the coolwhip is a little high maintenance. Especially at a party where the deserts are serve yourself.
This is scrumptious.... only raves where ever I have taken it... and it is requested at the holidays by many!!
Although the cheesecake did not taste pepperminty, it is still a good cheesecake recipe. Next time I will use at lease double the recommended amount of peppermint extract. Also, rather than making the icicles out of cool whip, I covered the outside rim with white chocolate chips. Note: Be sure to put the candy cane pieces on just before serving otherwise they will fuse together and make cutting the cake very difficult.
