Quite simply, the only lasagna recipe you'll ever need. With an ooey gooey cheesy melt, ground beef and marinara, it's a tried and true crowd-pleaser.

What You Need

lb. ground beef

cups KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese, divided

container (15 oz.) POLLY-O Natural Part Skim Ricotta Cheese

1/2

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided

1/4

cup chopped fresh parsley

egg, beaten

jar (24 oz.) spaghetti sauce

cup water

lasagna noodles, uncooked

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

BROWN meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Meanwhile, mix 1-1/4 cups mozzarella, ricotta, 1/4 cup Parmesan, parsley and egg until blended.

DRAIN meat; return to skillet. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Add 1 cup water to empty sauce jar; cover with lid and shake well. Add to meat mixture; stir until blended. Spread 1 cup meat sauce onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish; top with layers of 3 lasagna noodles, 1/3 of the ricotta cheese mixture and 1 cup meat sauce. Repeat layers twice. Top with remaining noodles, meat sauce and cheeses. Cover with foil sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 1 hour or until heated through, removing foil after 45 min. Let stand 15 min. before cutting to serve.

Substitute

Substitute 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach for the browned ground beef. Thaw spinach; squeeze out excess liquid. Prepare as directed, covering each ricotta layer with 1/3 of the spinach.

Shortcut

Adding water to the sauce helps cook the traditional noodles during baking, so you don't have to cook them beforehand. This saves you 15 to 20 minutes of prep time.

I love this lasagna! I never made lasagna before trying this recipe and I will never make it another way. It's even better with a little sausage mixed with the ground beef.

My fellow RV's brought this to a couple of our potluck dinners. It was so good she passed out many copies of this recipe. I paniced when I lost my copy because it so good and very easy and I can bake this on my pellet grill. Glad to have found my recipe, again. Debbie - Cottonwood, CA

I make this lasagna every time my son is home from college. It is a family favorite. I leave out the egg and add veggies and it turns out perfect every time. I usually make with ground turkey, no sugar added sauce and low fat cheese for a healthier option, and it is still fantastic. So easy to make.

I have made lasagna this way for years, at least 30 years. It is so easy, simple, quick to put together and great to eat! My family loves it. I will never boil and fight with a lasagna noodle again. The only difference is I put the noodle closely together, I use the thinner lasagna noodles because my family loves the pasta. Try it you will love how easy and quick you have dinner on!

Excellent and simple. I've added and i've prepared just as recipe nstructs and either way you can't go wrong. Kid friendly and great for gatherings. One of my families favorites.
