Added some corn and served with sour cream and topped with cheese. Velvetta works the best
I used velveta cheese instead of the cheddar cheese, substituted milk for the water, and added some leftover rice I had which made it more of a thick cream soup. it was creamy and delicious and my kids loved it.
I doubled the recipe for a meal-sized serving and added quesidillas on the side. It was a quick, hot lunch after a morning of shopping.
Made it today for lunch for my sons and husband. Quick and so easy to make. They all devoured it.
