I've been making this for years. I use a small round plastic container to cook the egg in and slide it onto the muffin. Then I heat up the cheese and Canadian bacon.

I've been making these for years but not in the microwave. When I saw this recipe I tried it out immediately and it came out great. I'll be making them this way from now on.

Tastes better than than the fast food one! Also works fine with scrambled eggs made on the stove. If you have extra time, cook up a sausage patty and try that instead of the bacon for something different. I toast the english muffin some also.

My eleven year old son always requests his favorite breakfast "samich". It's fast and yummy. Sometimes I take one to my boss in the morning. He is the envy of the building.

I have been making these forever sometimes using the English muffin sometimes bagels- I also like to add honey mustard or different cheeses or instead of bacon I use deli sliced ham.

I was surprised how delicious this turned out using the microwave. I love giving my family a hot breakfast in less than 5 minutes!
