You can have this cheesy egg sandwich without the wait at the drive-thru—and to be perfectly honest, we think it tastes more delicious than fast food, too.

oooooh so good. Very Good and easy to make. Will definetly make again.
Quick and fast in the morning. Great taste
This recipe is actually superb! The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because getting the egg on the english muffin was hard for me. It went all over the place and I threw it out. So I put a round shaped thing in the frying pan and dropped the egg in that. But I took the egg out and flipped it over and it held its shape. I also used ham instead of bacon, and I toasted the english muffin first. To make this healthier, use a lower fat cheese, low sodium ham, and a wheat or other grain english muffin! Being a fast food breakfast junkie (terrible I know!!!!), this satisfied me quite well! I will definetly be making this again!
This is so quick and simple! I loved it, its great when you have three small kids to dress in the morning!!!
Microwaving is what makes this recipe so great! Made this according to exact directions (except I had to microwave my own bacon first) and it is excellent.
would make again yet not microwaved. I found the egg to be a little rubbery. Frying the egg either overhard or overwell was much tastier.
I used a MT tuna can, that I removed BOTH ends, and buttered the inside, put into a small fry pan, cracked the egg into it & slowly fried it, THEN removed the can, turned the egg over and cooked the other side. It fits right on the muffin, add the other choices and micro for 20 seconds to heat!! PS: You can put it in a baggie and makes a quick "heat up" at school OR coffee break at work!!
I agree with Ksturza. It's easier to fry the egg. I use sliced ham instead of bacon! It's a hit for the whole family!
Looks Delicious
It's easier if you use a small bowl or ramekin, spray with non stick spray and cook egg (covered) in two 30 second intervals. While doing that, put the muffin into the toaster. It's all done about the same time. And it's not tough.
