I already had some leftover mashed potatoes, so I didn't follow that part of the recipe. I added soem garlic powder and some chopped onion to the beed as I browned it. My husband and I both loved this fast, easy and very tasty dinner!

I used sour cream in the potatoes, and added onion and lemon pepper to the hamburger. Everyone loved it and commented on how it was wonderful that it stayed hot down to the last mouthful. I will definitely make this again.

This is a very warm & easy meal to make on a cold, rainy evening. It was easy, but not as quick as some may say. I used ground turkey instead of beef. I added a bit more ketchup than called for, and I layered more cheese on the top than called for. It was delicious. However, the meat mixture could have used some extra seasoning. I will add some the next time I make this. Another idea, is to use light sour cream to whip the potatos instead of cottage cheese. Then you wouldn't have to bother with the food processor. I hate cleaning that thing.

It needs more flavor. something to add a little taste to it. If I try it again I'll add something.

I substituted vegetables that my children would like for the ones given in recipe. My twelve year old loved this and definitely wants me to make this a part of our family dinners!

My husband and daughter loved this dish. I added a little more ketchup and used prepared refrigerated mashed potatoes with garlic. Also assembled in am and baked at dinner time.

The potatoes seemed thick after beating them. But they were fantastic after it cooked. My family doesn't like the name, so I will call it "gourmet meatloaf" after this.

Good recipe, very healthy, but needs something to give it a little more flavor

This was a great recipe. The garlic cheese mashed potatoes were a great twist. I also liked the idea of changing the vegetables that are added to the meat. I used corn, sliced carrots, and diced red pepper. It was really delicious!
