I read reviews before making this dish and took the advice of some of the people. I used fresh carrots, celery, onion, and garlic instead of frozen veggies, I also added, worcestershire sauce, but no ketchup. I used 1/2 lb each hamburg and sausage. I added one pack each of mushroom and beef gravy. It turned out great and it had a lot of flavor. We will definitely be having this often!

I have made this several time and my family loves it. I put garlic and onions in with the ground beef and browned them all together. I also added Worcestershire sauce with the ketchup.

This was very tasty and easy to prepare. Very filling and had a lot of flavor with the garlic mashed potatoes. Would not guess that it is a "lite" recipe.

This is so good. I have made it several times. The only thing I have done differently is to omit the frozen vegetables and use fresh celery, onion and carrot that I brown with the meat. My picky husband loves this.

I used ground turkey instead of the beef, and added chopped onion, garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper along with Worcestershire sauce after I browned the meat. I also added seasoned salt and pepper to the potato mixture. It was really tasty and inexpensive to make.

I brown my beef with onion and 1 clove minced garlic. I add salt and pepper and Also add 1 TBSP. Worchestershire sauce to the meat. After it's browned, I add beef gravy, boil, and reduce and simmer until the potatoes are done. I just think it adds the right seasoning to this dish.

Yummy!! Everybody at my table loved this one. Soooo easy to make and I no longer have to buy that "packet mix" with all the salt & those other junk ingredients I don't like.PS: I used those "ready mashed tators" to save time.
