This is the first time I've ever made Shepherd's pie. It's a very easy dish to make and I think you can change out ingredients easily to suit your taste. Next time, I would use ground turkey and low fat cheese to lower the fat content. Also, I would add more seasonings. It was just a bit too bland for our tastes.

We made this for a week night dinner and it was so quick and easy. My daughter isn't a vegetable fan, but she tore right through it. And it's hard to get my husband to try new things...they both asked me to make it again sometime!!

Two of us liked it and two of us didn't. And since I didn't like it and I do all of the cooking we probably won't make this again.

This was so easy. I used leftover mashed red potatoes and turkey instead of ground beef. Added onion/sweet red/yellow peppers chopped, chopped mushrooms and leftover turkey gravy. When I make it again I'll try cream of celery in place of gravy which doesn't agree with me. Louie

This was a HUGE hit! As odd as it may sound, I've never made or eaten Sheppards Pie before - It was so EZ!

This was a great recipe and loved by all. I really like the cheesy mashed potato topping. My husband could eat mashed potatoes every day, so this was a nice way to put them in the meal.
