Everyone in the family enjoyed this on St. Patrick's Day. We added a little more cheese, ketchup and garlic and used 95% lean ground beef. Very tasty!

I will make the potato part which sounds very good, but I do my own meat. Just one request: it is only a Shepherd's pie if it is made with lamb. Otherwise it is a Cottage pie.

We thought this dish was good, but the meat filling was quite bland. It definitely has potential though. When we make it again, we will experiment a little with spicing up the meat portion!

This was so easy and so very good!! I used a bag of frozen asian stir fry vegetables and found the recipe change was fantastic. We will make this recipe again, but have also started making our mashed potatoes this way. This is definately a recipe you can serve to company!!! Thank you so much.

I made this tonight for dinner, but was surprised at how bland it was. =(- I used the frozen veggies but didn't have two cups worth so I added a few canned green beans. Made this w/corn, green beans, carrots & peas. I also added a bit of red peppers - to try & spice it up. Probably would try a different mix of veggies and more spices if I decided to make it again - but probably won't. We had to salt and pepper the heck out of it! Husband said he liked it - but I think he was being nice!

I thought the recipe was just ok. It did not have that much flavor to it and just tasted ordinary. It just tasted like it needed spiced up. I probably won't make this again.

I just made this for company and got rave reviews.. I added thyme as well as garlic powder along with onion powder and fresh black pepper. Served it with a salad and wow .. I'll definitely be making this again for St.Pattys Day:)

I make this all the time, & it is so easy & soooo good. I add a little thyme to the meat & vegie stuff before I top with the mash potatoes.
