very bland. Nobody in my fmily liked it eventhough I add more seasoning for flavor. I had to throw it away.
This was good, but I added apinch of rosemary & thyme to the ground beef mixture because without it the dish would have been rather bland. I used corn, peas, and onions, and it was delicious. Will definately make this again! Also, I used parmesean cheese instead of cheddar. It has more of a kick to it, and doesn't leave the dish tasting so bland!
Was not quite what i thought it would be. it was a little bland. i think i might make it again, but it needs something to give it a kick
This was really good and made a lot - would add some salt and pepper.
I noticed on other comments that the beef was not spiced well, so I added about 1/4 cup chopped onion and some worchestershire sauce to the ketchup, and I thought this was very good. I might have even left off the cheese on the top. I'm not sure it was neccessary. Yummy!
Pretty good. I used ground turkey and instant mashed potatoes. I will make it again.
Everyone in the family enjoyed this on St. Patrick's Day. We added a little more cheese, ketchup and garlic and used 95% lean ground beef. Very tasty!
I will make the potato part which sounds very good, but I do my own meat. Just one request: it is only a Shepherd's pie if it is made with lamb. Otherwise it is a Cottage pie.
We thought this dish was good, but the meat filling was quite bland. It definitely has potential though. When we make it again, we will experiment a little with spicing up the meat portion!
This was so easy and so very good!! I used a bag of frozen asian stir fry vegetables and found the recipe change was fantastic. We will make this recipe again, but have also started making our mashed potatoes this way. This is definately a recipe you can serve to company!!! Thank you so much.
