This recipe came out very tasty! Both myself and my husband loved it. I used only 2 cups of veggies, I have no idea how 4 cups would have allowed me to use an 8x8 pan....I think it would have been too much. I drained a little bit of the excess broth from the meat before placing in the pan. Otherwise this recipe was simple and tasty and I definitely plan on making it again!

I made this using rice with sour cream and a beaten egg instead of potatoes (saw it on another recipe). I added mushrooms, celery, green beans, red peppers, corn, lima beans, worcheschire sauce, a bit of tomato sauce, crushed red pepper, seasoning salt, pepper, onion salt and garlic powder. It was absolutely fantastic. Everybody went for seconds and had to unbutton their pants!

I added my own seasonings to taste, and that helped. My husband loves this!

My family enjoyed this! I added extra onions and used more broth. I will make this again. A perfect meal for a cold winter night.

My family liked it very much. I only used corn for the vegetable but stuck with all other ingredients. My 16 year old son told me I could make it EVERY night. I real nice comfort food.

My family enjoed this recipe, but, we felt that it was kind of bland. I would add some garlic salt, pepper and more cheese the next time. A good easy meal for a cold winter day.

Needs a little more spice, but otherwise was very good and well received by my family. Easy, too!

This is excellent!! Took the quick way out as suggested by an earlier rater and used instant mashed potatoes...did mix cheese and sour cream into the potatoes as directed in recipe. Turned out great with alot less time commitment. My husband couldn't stop himself and had seconds.

This was my first Shepherd's Pie, it was very good. To save on time I used instant garlic mashed potatoes. I will be making this again and again for my family.
