I liked it, but my family thought it had too many vegetables in it. They like veggies, but not so many.

Good, and VERY healthy! Lots and lots of veggies in this one! A neat shepherd's pie variation.

We loved this recipe, and it is a great alternative to the original. We used tofu crumble in stead of ground beef.

I purreed bell pepper and carrots so my kids would eat it and added 2 cups of peas and corn. I also cheated and used instant mashed potatoes. Easy to make early in the day and then bake for supper.

Instead of using the 4 cups of broccoli, etc. I used 1 can of mixed veggies and the outcome was great.

I already had some leftover mashed potatoes, so I didn't follow that part of the recipe. I added soem garlic powder and some chopped onion to the beed as I browned it. My husband and I both loved this fast, easy and very tasty dinner!

I used sour cream in the potatoes, and added onion and lemon pepper to the hamburger. Everyone loved it and commented on how it was wonderful that it stayed hot down to the last mouthful. I will definitely make this again.

This is a very warm & easy meal to make on a cold, rainy evening. It was easy, but not as quick as some may say. I used ground turkey instead of beef. I added a bit more ketchup than called for, and I layered more cheese on the top than called for. It was delicious. However, the meat mixture could have used some extra seasoning. I will add some the next time I make this. Another idea, is to use light sour cream to whip the potatos instead of cottage cheese. Then you wouldn't have to bother with the food processor. I hate cleaning that thing.
