Excellent recipe to start with. I read reviews and made changes. I did try instant potatoes but will use real next time. Ground beef seasoned with salt, onions, chopped celery, garlic & pepper then 2 cans green beans, 2 pkgs beef gravy topped with the potatoes & cheese. BIG HIT!

I just made this meal for my family... I used ground turkey instead of ground beef since my husband does not eat red meat... the dish was amazing!!!!

Suggestion - try with ground turkey or chicken. Simply add your fave poultry seasonings. I also add about 1/4 - 1/2 cup (eye it while it's cooking) chicken or vegetable broth when cooking the turkey in order to have more sauce.

Another go-to recipe for me, I've made this time and time again and it's been a great dish! I even made it with ground turkey and turkey gravy, and it still impressed the non-red meat eaters!

Pretty Good. My first time making and eating a Sheperd's Pie. I thought it would be fun for St. Patty's day. It was yummy but nothing to call home about.

My family and I loved this recipe! It was easy enough to make and had a great taste. I didn't have sour cream. so I substituted low fat plain yogurt. I also added black pepper for some zing. Definitely a keeper!
