I made this twice. The first time I followed the recipe fairly close and thought it was just okay. This time I substituted ground turkey for beef, Worcestershire sauce for ketchup, concentrated beef stock for the beef broth. Also I topped the dish with the cheese because I forgot to mix the cheese in with the potatoes. All in all this was much more flavorful than before. My husband loved it and I will definitely make it again.

Very easy and delicious! Family enjoyed it. Does need a bit more flavor - salt and pepper and maybe some red pepper flakes. Will definitely make this again.

We love it, but a 9x9 dish is too small. I put it in a 9 x 13, then added a little more broth to it and doubled the potatoes. It also needs salt and pepper.

My family LOVES this recipe! We did alter it a little to it faster. We used the instant garlic mashed potatoes and used spaghetti sauce instead of ketchup, and we use ground turkey that we add seasoning instead of beef. We also add an extra pound of ground turket and veggies to make for yummy frozen left overs! My 8 year old calls it his favorite meal.

I think next time I'll leave out the ketchup and use tomato paste or sauce instead it was a little sweet to me, And probably add hot pepper flakes too. But it was great as is too.
