This was ok. I did things differently from the recipe. Basically I incorporated all the previous comments together. I did sautee onion mushrooms and garlic with the meat as it cooked. It was delicious. I also added extra italian dressing as it was cooking to add a little more flavor. The whole family liked it and we almost finished it all.

Kids really liked this recipe; I liked it because you get everything in one skillet and it does taste good.

This is a family favorite. We substitute beef broth for water to give the dish extra flavor.

This is a good on the run dish to make. It doesn't take too much time, as you can use canned potatoes and slice them up and use canned carrots, just drain them both very well, rise and drain again. I will make this again for my family

I loved this meal!! And it pleased my Grandpa too (which is not always the easiest thing to do when it comes to meals)! I marinated my steak over-night with some olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt & pepper. I used red potatoes and baby carrots that I cut in half (lengthwise). I also added about a half of a cup of dressing instead of a 1/4 of a cup. Salt and pepper it to taste.... and.... absolutely WoNdErFuL!!! ***Make sure you DO NOT over-cook the potatoes and carrots (cook it right and there will be no mushiness).*** Enjoy!

Not great. You are better off cooking steak and onions together. Then just boil potatoes. The combination of everything turned out surprisingly strange.
