This salad looks delicious, and I like the way you can modify it to your own taste.

I love to try new recipes and each family member has to give it a rating of at least 8 on a scale of 1-10 or I won't make it again. This one was way up to the top of the list - everyone loved it!

This is a family favorite! I am usually not one to care for alot of extra stuff in my salad but LOVED this one! We also like to crumb tortilla chips for an extra crunch. Definitely a keeper for the recipe box.

Next time I make this, it will be minus the cayenne. It was great in taste, but just too spicy/hot for most of my guests.

Perfect for teens to prepare on their own! Try adding pinto beans to the cooked ground beef. And instead of ground beef, we've also used cooked white meat chicken either cut up or shredded. Occasionally I've served this with sides of salsa, sour cream and guacamole. Also, I like adding the cumin and cayenne on my own instead of using a prepared taco mix. This recipe tastes much fresher.

I think this would be better with some kind of southwest dressing.

This salad is soooo good. My four year old and two year old loved it. I added bacon and avacado and used regular light ranch. I will definately be making this one again.

Very easy and tasty. I made it for two people so I used half the beef (extra lean) and kept the spices as is for some extra heat. Black olives would be a great addition.

This is the most perfect salad. Everyone at my party loved it and told me to call them when I made some more!! I served Nacho Cheese Doritos with it and they went fast!
