lb. extra lean ground beef

pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken

medium onion, finely chopped

egg whites

cups water, divided

Tbsp. oil

1/2

cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1/4

tsp. black pepper

Make It

MIX meat, stuffing mix, onion, egg whites and 1-1/2 cups of the water until well blended. Shape into 8 (5-inch) patties.

HEAT oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add patties; cook 6 min. on each side or until cooked through and golden brown on both sides. Drain fat from skillet.

COMBINE barbecue sauce, remaining 1/2 cup water, the Worcestershire sauce and pepper; pour evenly over patties. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Cook an additional 5 min. or until sauce is slightly thickened and heated through.

Serve with a mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing and fresh fruit.

Substitute

Substitute ground chicken, ground pork or thawed frozen LOUIS RICH Pure Ground Turkey for the ground beef.

Instead of the sauce recommended in the recipe. I used an envelope of mushroom gravy mix and added a can of mushrooms! Delicious!!!

My family LOVED it...I have a 15yr old very picky eater and he ate 2 patties. It's a definte make again meal. I made mashed potatoes and corn with it and every bite was gone. A++++++

I made this today and my husband raved! He said he'd remember this meal all week. We just really really enjoyed it. It's got GREAT texture and flavor, it's economical to make and simply prepared. I served it without the mushrooms with the BBQ sauce to the side and it wasn't too dry or anything. This will definitely be one I make again, especially for company.

This was so very good, and a new way to me to make Salsbury steak, my husband really loved it and hes not a bar-ba-que sauce fan!!

Why not call it meat loaf? Very soft-almost mushy with all of the stuffing mix-and the sauce left a lot to be desired.

VERY VERY GOOD! My husband and his son loved it sooooo much. My husband told me that I should always make it and his son licked his plate and asked for more!

Deifinitly make on a non-stick pan. Very nice tast. My 8 year old son loved it.
