Chocolate PHILADELPHIA Tunnel Cake

Chocolate PHILADELPHIA Tunnel Cake recipe
I made this twice. Once for a co-workers b-day and then for my Dad's b-day. I added chocolate chips in the cream cheese mix the second time around. It was loved both ways.

Made this as a dessert for the kids for Thanksgiving. It was a hit! I even prepared this a week in advanced then froze it and took it out the night before Thanksgiving. I frosted it the morning of our dinner.

This recipe was pretty simple to make and tasted wonderful. I added chocolate chips to my cream cheese mixture just because i am a chocoholic-lol. It is very moist and delicious-definitely worth the time and effort

This cake is very good although extremely rich. I would suggest just a regular powdered sugar glaze instead of the cream cheese glaze because the cake is already so rich. Other than that, its a good mixture of chocolate and cheese cake.

This cake was a flop, literarily. The cake fell apart. The cream cheese mixture broke down during baking and was very bland. It went right to the trash.

I made this cake recipe with a Strawberry cake mix because my husband doesn't like chocolate. I served it with fresh strawberries and cool whip on the side and everyone loved it. I would do again and maybe try an orange cake mix next..I love orange! Thank you.
