I don't really like tomato soup but I thought this was good. The basil and cream cheese really make a difference. It's good with a grilled cheese sandwich on a cold day.

Quick and easy. To give it a little extra, I stirred in some chopped tomatoes.

I have made this recipe many, many times and I decided to spice it up a little. With the ingredients already used I added a can of Italian Stewed Tomatoes and sprinkled a shake or two of basil in it. I served it with saltines and my kids love it.

Try adding chopped red onion and some fresh tomato's! It's an awesome meal accompanied with grilled cheese on a chilly night.
